Year 8 students took part in the County Schools Challenge event last week, which aimed to reduce the appeal of vaping among young people and non-smokers. The day was supported by visitors from the Fire Service and Youth Justice Service, who also served as judges in a Dragons' Den-style competition held at the end of the event. The students performed exceptionally well, generating a variety of innovative ideas to address this important issue.
Evie Fitchett from Northamptonshire Children's Trust, expressed her thoughts about the event:
“It was an incredibly positive experience, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to engage with such an enthusiastic and vibrant school community. The students were full of great ideas and had such positive things to share. The passion they displayed was inspiring.“
